Dadihiye was established in 1993, to relieve poverty of disadvantaged people among the Somali community in London, particularly refugees and asylum seekers, including unaccompanied asylum seekers’ children in London.

Dadihiye provides daily drop-in and phone advice, information, advocacy and guidance on housing, welfare benefit, education, employment, health and training, and also makes referrals to immigration solicitors, GPs and professional specialist advice workers.

Dadihiye also accompanies clients with English language difficulties and interprets for them, and provides a translation service, i.e. correspondence letters. Additionally our organisation supports women experiencing domestic violence, racial harassment and experiencing financial difficulties.
